Upcoming Technical Group Events
Leading experts share practical insights into linepipe steel fabrication, special products such as clad and mechanically lined pipes, automated joining and inspection practices as well as strategic insight into large offshore pipeline projects.
Participants will gain knowledge on available products, areas of research, examples of industrial practice and opportunity for networking and gaining access to experts for any questions you might have on the topics covered.
This event will be of interest to engineers with a materials, metallurgy, mechanical or inspection background as well as project managers, logistics and management involved in offshore pipeline projects. It is also interesting in terms of highly optimised steel manufacturing, cladding, lining, inspection and installation perspective applicable across a variety of industry sectors.

This is a back-to-basics webinar, looking at the fundamental reasons for the difficulties and challenges faced when fusion welding the aluminium alloy. Methods of overcoming the problems of strength loss, oxide film removal, porosity and hot cracking will be covered, together with the sources of useful and helpful additional information .
Welding engineers and managers, project and production engineers, designers, quality assurance and control personnel, welders and welding apprentices.
Don't miss this opportunity to upskill, ask questions and gain clarity on an essential aspect of your role.
