What are Professional Volunteer Roles?

Focused on the detailed analytical work involved in preparing members for professional recognition with the Engineering Council. Working to high prescriptive standards, these volunteers will be experts in various fields of engineering and able to communicate clearly, effectively and positively with candidates from around the globe. They are organised and professional in their approach, working well with the Membership Team and as individuals in their own right.
 ROLE TIME FREQUENCY 
Professional Reviewer 4 hours per panel Twice a year
Professional Interviewer 2 hours per Professional Review Interview (PRI) 4 per year 
Individual Route Advisor

2 hours per candidate

4 per year

 Individual Route Assessor5-10 hours per candidate 2 per year (rolling) 
 CPD Reviewer2 hours Once a year 
 Accreditor5-8 days per year  2-3 visits per year
