This event has been organised by our East Midlands for our UK members as part of their programme of online talks.
Overview: The world is coming to accept that a strong diversity and inclusion strategy can help organisations to drive innovation successfully, allowing them to serve at a global level and attract top talents. However, managing diversity and inclusion in organisations is usually a territory with no real boundaries, and one strategy certainly cannot be applied across the board! Kamer will use her expertise to provide a perspective on cultural transformation and embedding a diversity and inclusion strategy into an organisation’s DNA.
Speaker: Ms Kamer Tuncbilek BSc, MA(Hons), MPhil AWeldI
Speaker Biography: Kamer is an Industrial Engineer who started her career in Project Management in 2004 and worked in various industries, from telecommunications to manufacturing. She has been working at TWI Ltd for 12 years, where she currently chairs The Tipper Group who aim to improve understanding, communication and engagement in support of TWI Ltd’s Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy.
