High Performance Welding – Tandem Welding Process & AGM

Members of the West and East Midlands Branch of The Welding Institute are invited to attend this technical talk. The AGM is for West Midlands Branch members only.

Technical Talk - 18:00pm

Overview: This talk will focus on the tandem welding process – starting with the first Fronius tandem systems through to their latest developments in arc welding technology.

Speaker: Paul Conquest - Application Engineer, Fronius UK

Speaker Biography: Paul has been with Fronius UK since 2013. He is working for Fronius UK as an Application Engineer supporting customers with welding trials/weld development and training for Fronius welding equipment covering a wide range of industries and arc welding processes including manual, automated and robotic applications.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Attending this event supports your professional development.  You can claim 2 CPD points per hour for this event.  As a member of the Welding Institute you can record your CPD activity online from your membership portal.

Annual General Meeting - 19:00pm

The AGM is an opportunity for West Midlands Branch members to hear reports from the Committee on the achievements and work of the Branch over the year; to make plans for the year ahead; to review the accounts ad to elect the Committee for the next year.

The last 12 months have been unprecedented and now more than ever, Branches need to come together to provide, help support and encouragement to the membership as well as to the Institute as a whole.
