Overview: EN ISO 3834 is a welding quality standard that is not a replacement for ISO 9001 but works alongside the standard to enhance the quality requirements for welding that ISO 9001 might not cover.
The presentation reviews EN ISO 3834 and parts of EN 1090, looking at each section in turn and the interlinked relationship with other standards. The presenter discusses what could be required as evidence to show adherence to the standard.
The ISO 3834 is being referenced in standards and client specifications and will slowly be recognised as the quality standard for welding that will be required.
