Overview: The UK-based group known as The People's Mosquito has been making excellent progress with the rebuild of their de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito NF.36 RL249. This talk will review the history of the project and look forward to an exciting future.
Speaker: David Smith
Speaker Biography: David recently retired after nine years with DVSA (an executive agency within the UK Department for Transport).
Previously, he spent 23 years with Airbus SAS and predecessor companies in a variety of contractual, commercial and business management roles working on all the new Airbus aircraft development programmes launched in that period.
He gained an LLB (hons) along the way and was a specialist in complex commercial transactions often leading high profile and strategically important international negotiations.
His interests are anything with an engine especially motorcycles and aircraft
