Overview: This talk will focus on Radiological Source Security.

The National CTSA network (Counter Terrorism Security Advisers) is here to help you to secure your radiological sources.

This short presentation will provide you with the background on the terror threat we have in the Daily use of NDE Isotopes and sources which may be used in plant process Instrumentation and how we can assist in your security

Speaker: John Bickerstaff 

Speaker Biography: John Bickerstaff is one of the most experienced CTSA’s in the country having over 18 years’ experience. Before that, a police officer with Cleveland Police which began in 1988, in uniform within the Stockton area, culminating within the Special Branch at Teesport. Currently working as a civilian CTSA with the Counter Terrorism Unit North East covering the North East region. Protecting the public from the terror threat can be worthwhile, working with our colleagues from the security services to offer holistic solutions to many sectors including the protection of radiological sources.
