This is an Eastern Counties Branch event organised and hosted by the Eastern Counties Branch Committee on behalf of Branch members. Other members are very welcome to register for this talk. Non-Members are also welcome to join us.

Overview: This talk from Project Director, Jim McNicholas, will outline the challenges and triumphs of this major infrastructure project for the east of England.

Speaker: Jim McNicholas (Project Director, Skanska)

Speaker Biography: A civil engineer now retired from full time employment after 45 years working in civil engineering contracting. Projects included waste water treatment, airfields both military and civilian, rail and highways. More recently responsible for projects to upgrade and widen the M25 followed by the A14 improvement project between Cambridge and Huntingdon.
