Applying for Professional Membership and Registration

This event is open to all members of The Welding Institute

Overview: Would you like to apply for Membership? Do you have your application forms but are not sure how or where to begin? This webinar is for anyone who would like information on how to apply for Membership with The Welding Institute and potentially also Engineering Council Registration as Engineering Technician, Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer. It will cover how to complete the application form, application appendix and supporting documents required to make your application. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and make a separate appointment with a Membership Officer to discuss your individual application as appropriate

Speaker Biographies:

Tom joined The Welding Institute in 2017 as a Membership Officer supporting applications for Professional Membership and Engineering Council registration.

Heather joined The Welding Institute in 2018 as a Membership Officer, supporting applications for Professional Membership and Engineering Council registration.

Louise joined The Welding Institute in 2019 as a Membership Officer and has taken a key role in supporting and developing CPD.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Attending this event supports your professional development.  You can claim 2 CPD points per hour for this event.  As a member of the Welding Institute you can record your CPD activity online from your membership portal.
