Eastern Counties Branch Technical Talk

This is an Eastern Counties Branch event organised and hosted by the Branch Committee on behalf of Branch members. All members of the Branch are invited to attend our AGM. Other members and non-members are very welcome to register for the talk.

Overview: In this talk, Kate will give a brief introduction to friction welding and then specifically linear friction welding, explaining the  benefits and current applications of this process. Kate will then go on to  discuss current work on the welding of wood. A very suitable topic for a Branch talk!
