This is a South Western Branch event organised and run by our South Western  Branch for its members. Other members and non-members are welcome to join us.

Overview: The consequences of hydrogen in weld metal and the role of the welding consumable

Speaker:- Stuart Thomas (Voestalpine Bohler Welding UK Ltd)

Speaker Biography:- Stuart joined Bohler Welding in 1998 as quality assurance and health and safety trainee within the technical department. Undertook a 2 year practical welder training program (but wasn’t very good). Studied Metallurgy up to HND level before completing EWE via TWI Cambridge. Now responsible for application services for the full UK with key account responsibilities in Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Pipeline segments
