All members of The Welding Institute are invited to our spring global members meeting.

Meeting Overview: Our Member Meetings are an opportunity for members to hear directly from our Directors and Committee Chairs on their current work,  achievements and aspirations, to put forward suggestions and to ask questions from our volunteers who oversee the running of The Welding Institute on behalf of our members.

• Building on 100 years of technical excellence. Alan Denney (Chair of the Technical Groups) will explain how our extensive programme of technical talks is pulled together by our volunteer chairs. 
• Investing in our future. Adam Black (Joint Chair of the Younger Members Committee) will give an update on the work our younger members are dong to engage and inspire the next generation of engineers
• An overview of  TWIs current initiatives and innovations. Aamir Khalid (CEO of TWI Ltd) will provide an update on the fully funded training provided for the industry including MScs, Diplomas, PhDs and CSWIP courses, and the latest innovations, investments and developments currently underway at TWI 
• Q & A
