Australian Branch – Technical Talk
This is an Australian Members event organised by the Australian Members Working Group on behalf of Professional members in Australia. All members based in Australia are invited to join our meeting and technical talk.
Overview: In this presentation, Andrew will give a review of the prequalification of welding consumables to AS/NZS 1554.1, the different methods of classifications and an understanding of weathering steel consumables.
Speaker: Andrew Devlin (Fabrication and Welding Lecturer, Regency TAFE SA)
Speaker Biography: Andrew is a new lecturer at TAFE SA with over 20 years' industry experience across the commercial, infrastructure, oil & gas and mining sectors. Starting and early career as a pipefitter welder and progressing through welding inspection, welding supervision and project quality role on large fabrication and construction projects.
