Southern Counties Branch Event

This is a Southern Counties Branch event organised and run by our Southern Counties  Branch for  members of the Branch. Other members and non-members are welcome to join us.

Overview:-  In this talk, Peter will discuss filler metals for cryogenic applications including their chemistry and composition, what are the essential properties and what is available on the market.  And as always, Peter will include some welding guidelines. The presentation will address the following topics;

  • What are the most common cryogenic applications?
  • What properties do these filler metals need to exhibit?
  • What makes these filler metals so special?
  • What grades are available?
  • Welding guidelines.
