This event features a talk by Jonathan Martin, an expert in Friction Stir Welding, who will share his in-depth knowledge of this advanced joining technique. Additionally, Josh Barras will present on TWI’s additive manufacturing work, offering insights into innovative developments in Directed Energy Deposition - Laser Beam (DED-LB) and Extreme High-speed Laser Application (EHLA) technology.

The evening will also include an exclusive tour of the state-of-the-art facilities at our Sheffield site, giving attendees a rare behind-the-scenes look at leading-edge welding and manufacturing processes.
