Our Speaker
Dr Cui Er Seow
Cui Er Seow is a Manufacturing Manager at Pelagus 3D. She manages the global network of manufacturing partners onboarded with Pelagus 3D to ensure that on-demand spare parts are manufactured to the required quality and timescales for our customers in the maritime and energy sectors. She is also leading the expansion of the manufacturing partner network in the Asia Pacific Region.
Prior to this, Cui Er was a Senior Project Leader at TWI Ltd, where she was working on proposal submission and technical delivery of various private and public funded industrial research projects. She is a qualified welding engineer (IWE/EWE) and a chartered engineer (CEng) with The Welding Institute. She has a PhD in Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM), and has direct experience with process parameter development, welding documentation (WPS, WPQR) review, weld repair procedure development, qualification testing and inspection.
