Meet the speaker:
Simon Davies of EngEPA has over 20 years' experience in engineering having originally come through the apprentice route. His experience includes managing various welding activities on behalf of the European Notified/Approved Inspection Body for over 60 clients based in the UK.
His direct work for clients has involved collaboration on various projects that included pressure vessels/heat exchangers, valve bodies and pumps, onshore and offshore pipelines, structural steelwork, corrosion resistant overlays as well as currently acting as the Welding Coordinator for various companies within the sector.
In 2020 he founded EngEPA, which then became the first EPAO (End-Point Assessment Organisation) to be Ofqual recognised for both Level 2 and Level 3 Welding Standards. Today the company are thrilled to celebrate reaching the milestone of completing 1,000 assessments against the engineering standards they cover in their extensive portfolio.
