Overview: WorldSkills UK are an independent charity and work with employers, education and governments.
We’re a proud member of WorldSkills, a global movement of over 80 countries. WorldSkills supports young people across the world via competitions-based training, assessment and benchmarking, with members’ national teams ultimately testing their ability to achieve world-class standards in the biennial ‘skills olympics’.
This session will focus on how to embed skills competition activity for preparation towards national competitions and how they can help to evidence Gatsby, inspection frameworks, soft skill development, employability skills and qualifications.
The session will also give you an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the national competition cycle and the tools and resources available to help you embed competition activity with your learners.
