Teesside Branch Talk and AGM
This is a Teesside Branch event organised and run by our Teesside Branch for members of the Branch. Other members and non-members are welcome to join us.
[Please note: - AGM 5-6pm, Talk 6-7pm]
Our talk will be preceded by the Branch AGM and will commence at 5pm The AGM is an opportunity for all Branch members to have their say in the running of the Branch, to offer ideas and support so do please join us and make sure your voice is heard.
All current members of the Teesside Branch will be sent a separate invitation and papers before the event.
Overview:- Through her wide experience in a variety of leadership roles, Jessica will guide us on alternative journey that takes in climbing, running and Mont Blanc! Lessons learnt and ideas to try to energise your start to 2024!
Speaker:- Jessica Williams (Principal Project Leader)
Speaker Biography:- Jessica founded Just Williams in 2015 and Just Williams Sales Academy in 2019 winning various business awards along the way. Her specialisms lie in sales, marketing, customer engagement, ESG and business diversification. Jessica has sat on boards for the last 15 years and was appointed as a NED to Darlington Building Society in 2019 as the youngest ever Non-Executive Director to serve on a Building Society board. She has held a number of board positions from a young age including launching and chairing the ISM and Young Enterprise in the North East, raising over £25,000 for various charity partners since Just Williams launch. She now mentor’s young women, entrepreneurs and start-ups. Since completing her MBA Jessica was invited to join Teesside University International Business School Board and represent the small business community on the Tees Valley Combined Authority Business Engagement Board.
As a thought leader on purpose led profit and an avid supporter of the Better Business Act as well as a certified B-Corporation - the first in the UK on a sales and marketing front – her ambition to grow and support businesses to create profit sustainably for the benefit of local communities, customers and environment.
