Our Richard Dolby - Rolls-Royce Award Submissions are Open! 

Presented biennially by The Welding Institute’s Younger Members’ Committee (YMC), the ninth award will be presented in 2026 and is sponsored by Rolls-Royce plc.

Open to current members who can show achievement and enthusiasm in welding, joining, or materials engineering at the early stage of their career. 

We are accepting applications for this year's award with £1,000 cash prize and £100 prize for runners-up.
