6.00pm CTL Seal presentation will include a company profile covering welding capabilities and qualifications followed by a presentation on the
72010 Hengist – a Steam Locomotive for the 21st Century Project
A project to build a new steam locomotive using modern manufacturing methods in today’s engineering environment, highlighting the progress to date.
7.00pm Works tour concluding at the Hengist Locomotive in the Assembly Shop.
8:00pm Finish
Note that this is an in-person event only. Registration is essential as numbers are strictly limited to 25 people.
CTL Seal will provide necessary PPE, except for footwear. If possible, visitors should bring their own safety shoes. Stout walking shoes are acceptable provided visitors keep to the walkways. Otherwise, safety shoes must be worn.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Attending this event supports your professional development. You can claim 2 CPD points per hour for this event. As a member of the Welding Institute you can record your CPD activity online from your membership portal. CPD Certificates are not provided for Branch events.
