Speaker: Cassandra Baxendale (Business Development Director, Metaverse Learning)

Speaker Biography: Cassandra is the Business Development Director for Metaverse Learning,the leading provider of high-quality, immersive learning and trainingsolutions through extended reality, including Virtual Reality (VR), Virtual Environments (VE) and Augmented Reality (AR). She has been a passionate advocate for EdTec and innovation in education and how digital innovation can be incorporated into teaching practices to maximise learning outcomes.

With over 15 years of experience in further education, Cassandra has worked in management and marketing roles across seven colleges in Warwickshire and Worcestershire. As a digital innovator, she also spent two years at a Microsoft startup, where she spearheaded the development of an event planning platform specifically designed for educational purposes, showcasing her dedication to advancing technology in the education sector.
