Scottish Branch Technical Talk

This is a Scottish Branch event organised and run for the benefit of members of The Welding Institute. Other members and non-members are welcome to join us.

Overview: Join us for a closer look at Sour Service Testing from a pipeline perspective .

Speaker: Sean O'Neill

Speaker BiographySean O’Neill is a Chartered Materials Engineer with 20 years’ experience in manufacturing, welding, and offshore oil & gas construction. Sean has performed various roles in a welding discipline ranging from apprentice level through to lead engineer on major pipeline projects. Sean now works for Subsea 7’s Pipeline Group, performing research & development at their Global Welding Centre in Glasgow.                           

Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Attending this event supports your professional development.  You can claim 2 CPD points per hour for this event.  As a member of the Welding Institute you can record your CPD activity online from your membership portal.
